FAITHFULNESS

Theme: Faithfulness, loyalty and honour are values not broadly seen as the norm in the world today. In spite of this God remains faithful and consistent towards us. We are called to mirror God’s faithfulness in our lives. Let us have a discussion around some of the areas we are required to be faithful in.

Theme Scripture: Deuteronomy 7:9/Psalm 36:5


Ask the LG the following questions:

1.    God calls us to faithfulness in marriage – 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7

 

-      What practical steps can we take to protect/improve our marriages thereby ensuring our faithfulness in marriage?
-      How can we, as married couples, support and or encourage other married couples who may be struggling in this area?

2.    God calls us to faithfulness in the workplace – Colossians 3:22-24
-      What measures can we put in place to ensure we always have a good and sincere attitude in the workplace?

3.    Faithfulness in the small things leads to promotion – Mathew 25:20-21/Proverbs 12:24/Luke 16:10
-      Share with us a testimony of how this principle has played itself out in your life?
-      Why is it that this principle, as simple as it may seem, is often neglected and it seems that at times we are always chasing the “next big thing”?
